Anthony Griffin has been a professional rugby league coach for 23 years. His illustrious career has seen him on the coaching staff at the Melbourne Storm, two grand finals and a premiership in the Queensland Cup, and 6 out of 7 NRL finals series with the Brisbane Broncos and Penrith Panthers. Most recently, Anthony helped guide Tonga to two of their best victories over England and Australia in the 2019 Rugby League Oceanic Cup.
His success and longevity as a Rugby League coach is a direct reflection of Anthony's key values for success; leadership and resilience. With these values at the core of Anthony's work, he has built teams and clubs from the ground up. Whether this is through guiding young men into flourishing NRL careers, facilitating leadership groups, or building high-performance staff, systems, strategies and cultures, Anthony's knowledge and guidance is invaluable for anyone in any industry.
In the past year, Anthony has consulted to various clubs and sporting organizations, corporate and mining companies and government bodies. While carrying out extensive reviews of their operations and systems, Anthony has recommended and implemented new structures and processes that have improved overall individual and company performance.
Anthony wrote weekly columns for the Daily Telegraph throughout the 2019 NRL season and provided expert NRL commentary on 2GB and Fox League. He has also made appearances at various events and conferences, offering his coaching experiences and knowledge to a vast range of audiences.
